Kathy Yarber, 48
Kathy Ann Yarber, 48, of East Irvine St., Richmond, died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, in the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
She was born on April 24, 1959, the daughter of the late Lillie Young and Dayton McKinney. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith and she loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, John Yarber; one son, Ricky Yarber, and one daughter, April Tomson (Tony), both of Richmond; five brothers: Deanie Young (Carol) of Richmond, Dayton McKinney, Jr. of Frankfort, Johnny McKinney of Irvine, Kenny McKinney and Denny McKinney of Ohio and one “adopted” brother, Jerry Collins (Kathleen) of Flordia; seven sisters: Kimberly Short and Retha Biggs (Tommy), both of Waco, Cathy Tate of South Point, Ohio, and Helen Benton (Gene) of Duncanville, Texas, Swana Smith of Irvine, Plaine Webb of Ohio, and Annie McKinney of Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Young, and one sister, Ruby Drummond.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2008, at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Bradley Johns officiating. Burial will follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Combs, Parsons and Collins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Short, Johnny Biggs, Robert Stanley, Doug Marshall, Ricky Middleton, Sr., and Ricky Middleton, Jr.
