BASKETBALL: Neubauer Youth Camp set for June 23-26

RICHMOND — Eastern Kentucky University men’s basketball coach Jeff Neubauer and the team’s coaching staff will play host to their annual youth basketball camp June 23-26.

The camp, which is open to both boys and girls ages 7 through 16, will focus on offensive development, shooting the basketball and 1-on-1 offensive moves. Games and instruction will be held inside Alumni Coliseum from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

Cost of the camp is $175 per camper.

Neubauer recently concluded his ninth season as the Colonels’ head coach by directing the team to the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament championship and a spot in the NCAA Tournament.

The Colonels finished the 2013-14 season with a 24-10 record, the second most victories ever for an Eastern team.

EKU captured its sixth OVC Tournament title and made its eighth NCAA Tournament appearance, playing Kansas in St. Louis.
