For the second time this week, Madison Central handed one of the top teams in the 10th Region a lopsided loss at home.
The Indians (3-1) got 25 points from Ken-Jah Bosley and 24 points for Dominique Hawkins as rolled to a 78-61 win over Montgomery County (4-1) Friday in Mt. Sterling. Central had a 26-10 advantage after the first quarter and never let lead slip back to single-digits the rest of the way.
On Tuesday, the Indians beat Clark County, 72-41, in Winchester.
Central shot just 39 percent, but forced 20 turnovers, hit 24 free throws and out-rebounded Montgomery County, 47-35.
Montgomery County shot 46 percent from the field and got 25 points and 11 rebounds from Omar Prewitt.
Quan Taylor had points for Central, Hunter Stocker finished with four points and nine rebounds, Sam Jones had six points and seven rebounds, while Daniel Parke had four points and Demarcus George, George Walker and Kirk Humphrey each had two points.
Bosley also had six rebounds and Hawkins had 11 rebounds.
Montgomery County had out-scored its opponents 313-157 while opening the season with a 4-0 record.
Central is set to return to action today at Marion County. Game time is set for 6 p.m. in Lebanon.
