The Mountaineers had four players reach double figures in scoring and rolled to another win Saturday at the Seabury Center.
Trent Maddox had 24 points and Rashad Hayden added 23 points as Berea College (11-7, 3-0 KIAC) defeated Brescia University, 92-64. The win was the fourth-straight for the Mountaineers and keeps them undefeated in conference play.
Brescia had a seven-point lead early, but Berea College stormed back to take a 46-25 lead at halftime. The Mountaineers shot 63 percent from the field in the first half, including a five-of-12 performance from three-point range.
Berea shot 52 percent for the game and had 23 assists on 33 field goals. The Mountaineers were also 12-of-27 from three-point range.
Aaron Ponder had 12 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals. Deon Banks had 10 points, Seth Beckham had nine points and four assists, while Koty Riley had eight points.
Hayden was five-of-six from three-point range and also had four rebounds.
During their four-game winning streak, the Mountaineers have averaged 89 points a game.
Dominique Garmon had three points for Berea, Ryan Schnellenberger had two points and Tyler Huff added a point.
Berea is set to return to action Tuesday at KIAC rival Asbury.
Carlow 70, Berea 66
The Lady Mountaineers suffered their sixth-straight loss Saturday, falling at home to KIAC rival Carlow University, 70-66.
Berea (4-13, 0-4 KIAC) is set to return to action Tuesday at Asbury.
