BOYS SOCCER: Wylie, Valencia lead Model past Boyle

RICHMOND — The Patriots kept up their outstanding early-season play on Saturday against Boyle County (1-3) in Richmond.

Noah Valencia and Andrew Wylie each had two goals as Model Laboratory picked up a 5-3 win. Andrew Yoder also had a goal and Chris Wylie had an assist.

With the win, the Patriots move to 5-0 on the season.

Levi Agee earned the victory in net for Model.

So far this season, the Patriots have outscored their opponents 28-8 and Andrew Wylie leads the team with 12 goals and eight assists, while Valencia has nine goals and four assists and Rishav Aikat has three goals.

In their past 13 games, going back to last season, Model has lost just once —  3-1 loss to Woodford County in the 11th Region Tournament.

The Patriots are set to return to action Thursday at home against Lafayette.
