GLENMORE: Seniors tee it up in Berea

RICHMOND — Upcoming events

The Labor Day Tournament at Madison Country Club — This is the oldest tournament in the county. It was started in 1944 during World War II. The winner was Scudder Pearson, whom I caddied for a couple of times in the 30s. This tournament has two PGA major event winners as past champions — Master’s winner Gay Brewer won it twice and Bobby Nichols, PGA Champ, won it once. For info call 623-6468. There may still be an opening.
