BEREA — Former Madison Central standout Austin Hunt was named the 2013 All-Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Team on Monday.

Through 42 games this season with Berea College, the junior first baseman was hitting .353 with a .600 slugging percent. Hunt also leads the Mountaineers in doubles (21), home runs (four), RBI (45) and total bases (90).

Berea College defeated Asbury, 14-7, last week in the opening round of the KIAC Tournament before falling to eventual champion Point Park, 22-4.

The Mountaineers finished the season with a 18-25 record (7-12).
