The Lady Mountaineers wrapped up the regular season with a hard-fought win Tuesday at home over non-conference foe Wilberforce, 66-60, at the Seabury Center.
Berea College (13-16, 8-7 KIAC) got 11 points and 11 rebounds from Shelby Romine and picked up a third-straight win. Makenzie Stoner added 10 points, while Anna Loveless had nine points and six rebounds.
The Lady Mountaineers never trailed and led by as much as 17 points late in the first half.
Both teams struggled shooting the ball. Berea shot just 38 percent from the floor (two-of-nine three-pointers) and Wilberforce shot just 36 percent from the field.
Berea had 24 turnovers, Wilberforce had 25 turnovers.
Erika Parks had nine points, while Malena Steve, Johnesha Warren and Mikola Burks each had eight points. Meagan Walker added three points and eight rebounds.
Berea is set to return to action Saturday in the opening round of the KIAC Tournament. The Lady Mountaineers will play host to Indiana University-Southeast (16-12, 8-7 KIAC) at the Seabury Center.
