H.S. SWIMMING: Local swimmers move on to regional finals

RICHMOND — All four local swim teams competed Friday in the preliminary round of the Region 5 Swim Championships in Barbourborville.

The top eight finishers in the preliminaries will compete in the championship finals today, while those who finished in spots 9-16 will compete in the consolation finals today.

Results from Friday were:

200 Medley Relay

Girls; 2nd — Central’s team of Abby Thompson, Tilly Baldwin, Morgan Lakes and Molly Ford.

Boys; 13th — Central’s team of Trent Lakes, Chandler Payne, Chase Baldwin and Blake Brockman.

200 Free Girls
