H.S.WRESTLING: Wrestlers pick up wins at state duals

RICHMOND — The Madison Central wrestlers placed third in their pool in their first-ever appearance in the Kentucky High School State Wrestling Duals Saturday in Mt. Sterling and had several individuals pick up victories.

Senior Storm Savage (170 pounds) went 2-2 at the event, along with Chris Morrow (132 pounds). Ryan McMannus (120 pounds) and Will Keeney went 3-1, Jack Lindsey (152 pounds), Drake Hagar (138 pounds), and Corbin Couch (285 pounds) all picked up one win in three matches.

The Central wrestlers are back in action this weekend at the Capital City Tournament in Frankfort.
