Promoters say they expect big name drivers from all over the east coast to participate in the event, while two-time defending champion Josh McGuire will be shooting to make it three in a row in the event.

Other prizes to be given include a $100 hard charger award and a $100 award for the fastest qualifier.

Late Model drivers must sign in with the Richmond Raceway Officials as usual to fill out driver information cards and 1099 information as well as Professional Motorsports Officials to receive scoring transponders.

The entry fee for the “Butterball” is $100. The fee includes transponder rental, however drivers will still have to have a credit card on file or a deposit to ensure return of undamaged equipment.

Fifty dollar tow money will be paid to drivers not transferring to the A-main but participating in the consolation races.

Random tire sampling will be done throughout the night. Richmond Raceway officials will retain the winner’s purse and any other racer’s tires they randomly sample until results from the sample are received from the lab.

The 26th Paul “Butterball” Wooldridge Memorial rain date is set for July 20.  The most exciting night at the track for the young race fans; Kids Extravaganza is on August 3. Many more special events are planned for the season. We’ll see you trackside at 328 Greens Crossing Road, Richmond, KY 40475.
