RICHMOND — It may not have been pretty, but the Lady Indians still found a way to pick up a tough road win Monday in London.

Madison Central scored a goal with about 15 minutes left, which was credited to Maryssa Stewart, and held on for 1-0 victory over South Laurel. With the win, the Lady Indians (6-0-1) remain undefeated on the season.

Stewart has six goals so far this season.

“We need to get better and we need to get better quick,” Central coach Chris Dunham said.

Things will get together for the Lady Indians right away.

They are set to put their undefeated record on the line Wednesday night at West Jessamine (5-1).
