H.S. BOWLING: Indians roll past Corbin

RICHMOND — The Madison Central boys bowling team picked up an impressive victory over Corbin Sunday at Galaxy Bowling Center.

The Indians won 7-0, with Grant Willoughby rolling a team-best 193. Daelyn White had a 192 and Josh Maynard bowled a 177.

The Lady Indians fell to Corbin, 4-3. Danielle Harrison had the best score for Central, 187. Debborah Harrison had a 152 and Casey Dickerson rolled a 137

Last Wednesday, the teams traveled to Mt. Sterling to take on Montgomery County.

The Lady Indians picked up a 5.5-1.5 victory. Debborah Harrison bowled a 181 and a 170 to lead Central. Danielle Harrison had a 157 and Nikki Vickery bowled a 143.

The Indians fell to Montgomery County, 7-0. White bowled a 210 and 181, Maynard bowled a 199 and 180, Grant Willoughby had a 197 and Adam Cromer bowled a 163 game.

On Nov. 2 at Galaxy, Central took on Lee County.

The Lady Indians earned a 5-2 win. Danielle Harrison had Central’s top game with a 199 and Debborah Harrison rolled a 157.

The Indians fell to Lee County, 7-0.

White bowled games of 211 and 179, while Josh Maynard bowled games of 187 and 169.

Central bowling teams are set to return to action Wednesday against Bryan Station at Eastland Lanes in Lexington.

The Madison Central girls bowling team includes:  Brittany Scott, Debborah Harrison, Danielle Harrison, Kaylee Speakman, Nikki Vickery, Sabrina Davis, Casey Dickerson, Madisyn Hurst, Gwendolyn Ruggles, Abryhauna Duerson and Christina Tudor.

The Madison Central boys bowling team includes: Josh Maynard, Grant Willoughy, Adam Cromer, Daelyn White, William Rogers, Jacob Scott, Daniel Gregory, Blake Jackson, Trace Hale, Daniel Claybourne.
