It took a little while to get the offensive machine hitting on all cylinders, but Berea College finally got it going and routed Boyce College 109-73 Tuesday at the Seabury Center.
The Mountaineers (2-1) trailed by three points with just over 10 minutes left in the first half after the Bulldogs had erased an early eight-point Berea lead.
The Mountaineers regained the lead for good with three quick baskets off steals and never looked back.
Five players scored in double figures for Berea, led by Diashon Robinson with 25 points. London Moore added 17 points and a game-high 11 rebounds and five assists, while Seth Beckham had 16 points, Anthony Myrks had 11 and Tevin Webster added 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Richard Parker had nine points and Aaron Ponder finished with seven points, five rebounds and four assists.
The Mountaineers are back in action on Saturday against Milligan College at 7:30 p.m.
