H.S. GOLF: Central golfers take 15th place

RICHMOND — The Madison Central boys golf team finished 15th in the Knights Travel Kentucky Invitational Tournament Saturday at Nevel Meade Golf Course in Prospect.

The Indians shot a combined +44 332 on the links style course.

West Jessamine won the event for the third consecutive year, shooting a +10, 298, six shots better than second place Trinity.  

Colts senior Fred Allen Meyer took top individual honors, shooting a four-under-par 68.

Zach Miller was the top finisher for the Indians with a +7, 79.

Carter Skipworth was next with a +10, 82, followed by Trent Renfro at +11, 83 and Burgess Clark and Jordan Adams who each shot +16, 88.
