TRACK: Farristown, Foley take top spots

RICHMOND — Farristown and Foley both took the top spots at Monday’s All-Comers Meet at B. Michael Caudill Middle School in Richmond.

Foley Middle captured the girls title, racking up 123 points. Caudill was second at 121, while Farristown was third at 115.

In the boys competition, Farristown finished with 121 points, edging out Foley (112.5) for the title. Caudill was third and Madison Middle was fourth.

Individual winners in the girls competition included — Jai Christian of Caudill (100 hurdles), Madison Goodman of Clark-Moores (100 meter dash), Maria Melhuish of Foley (1,600 meter run; 3,200 meter run), Kelsey Powell of Caudill (400 meter dash), Katie Durham (300 meter hurdles), Carmen Caldwell (200 meter dash), Barbara Evans of Foley (high jump, shot put), Mallory Smith of Caudill (long jump), Abby Sharp of Farristown (triple jump) and Christina Gibson of Farristown (discus).

Individual winners in the boys competition included — Ethan Yandow of Foley (110 hurdles, 300 hurdles), Jaylin Powell of Madison Middle (100 meter dash, 200 meter dash), Trace Smith of Farristown (1,600 meter run, 400 meter run), Austin Cates of Foley (3,200 meter run), Diontray Dean of Madison Middle (high jump), Cameron McCarty of Farristown (long jump), Ryan Cooper of Foley (triple jump) and Justus Williams of Berea (discus and shot put).
