The Lady Colonels continue their two-game road swing at 7 p.m. today against Belmont (11-8, 6-1 OVC) in Nashville.

EKU (10-6, 4-1 OVC) defeated Jacksonville State, 69-51, on Saturday in Jacksonville Ala. to pick up their second road win of the season.
Marie Carpenter led the way for the Lady Colonels with 15 points in her first start since injuring her hand in the season opener against Miami (Ohio).
Brittany Coles had 13 points against the Lady Gamecocks and Alex Jones, starting her 100th career game, had her 29th double-double, 12 points and 11 rebounds.
In a quirk in the schedule, the Lady Colonels and Lady Bruins will play back-to-back games — tonight in Nashville and again Saturday in Richmond.
The East Division leading Lady Bruins are coming off a 66-54 win over cross-town rival Tennessee State on Saturday.
Belmont enters the game averaging 60.6 points per game while allowing their opponents to score 59.1 points per game.
The Lady Bruins are shooting 40.1 percent from the floor and 31 percent from behind the three-point line, while holding their opponents to 33.3 percent from the floor and only 30 percent from behind the three-point arc.
Belmont is also a good rebounding team, averaging 35.5 rebounds per game and turns the ball over on average 14.5 times per game.
Katie Brooks is the leading scorer for the Lady Bruins at 10.3 points per game.
Jordan Coleman is second on the team in scoring at 9.6 points per game and leads Belmont in rebounding, pulling down 9.9 boards per game.
Jordyn Luffman is averaging 9.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
