RICHMOND — Both the EKU men and women’s basketball teams will look to continue their unbeaten streaks at McBrayer Arena when they meet Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville (6-7, 0-1 OVC) today in a doubleheader.

The women’s game is set for 4 p.m.

The men’s game is set for 7 p.m.

The Lady Colonels (7-5, 1-0 OVC) have won six straight at home and are coming off a big 69-49 conference win on the road Monday over Murray State.

The win was the largest margin of victory by the Lady Colonels in an OVC road game under fifth-year coach Chrissy Roberts.

It also was the team’s first road win of the season.

EKU has hit at least one three-pointer in 183 consecutive games, and shot a season-high 47 percent from behind the three-point arc against the Lady Racers Monday.

Today’s game features a battle of two of the OVC’s best post players. Jade Barber averages a double-double on the season, with 12.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.

SIUE center Raven Berry is averaging 12.8 points and nine rebounds per game.

Colonels look to stay hot
