BOWLING: Station tops Central twice

RICHMOND — The Madison Central High School bowling team recently took on Bryan Station in a pair of matches.

The Indians and Defenders hit the lanes last Wednesday at Galaxy Bowling Center in Richmond. Central’s boys lost 4-3, while the girls team suffered a 7-0 loss.

Top scores for the Indians were rolled by Daelyn White (214, 205), Blake Jackson (196), Josh Maynard (171 twice) and Daniel Gregory (167).

Top scores for the Lady Indians were rolled by Debborah Harrison (172, 148), Danielle Harrison (164, 141), Casey Dickerson (149) and Nikki Vickery (138).

Central and Station also competed against each other on Nov. 15 at Eastland Lanes in Lexington.

The Indians lost 4.5-2.5, while the Lady Indians suffered a 7-0 setback.

Top scores for the Indians were rolled by Grant Willoughby (188), Daelyn White (182, 158) and Blake Jackson (176).

Top scores for the Lady Indians were rolled by Danielle Harrison (153), Madisyn Hurst (151) and Debborah Harrison (144).

Central is set to return to action Dec. 4 against Clark County at Joyland Lanes in Lexington. The next home match is set for Dec. 9 against Henry Clay at Galaxy.
