GLENMORE: Colonels surge into first at OVC meet

Upcoming events

Saturday and Sunday — President’s Cup between Madison Country Club and Blue Grass Army Depot.

April 28 at Battlefield – Madison Central Project Graduation. Cost $50 per person, $200 per team includes cart, green fee and lunch. Prizes: First - $300, second - $250 and third - $200. There will also be prizes for closest to pin and long drive. For info call Donya Smith at 624-5535.

May 4 at Berea Country Club — Derby Day Scramble. Tee time is noon and cost is $10 plus all cart and green fees apply. After the scramble there will be a Derby Party upstairs with hors d’oeuvres and the Run for the Roses at 6:24 p.m. and Rick Arnold playing at 7:00. There will be a $5 cover charge.

May 11 at Bluegrass Army Depot – The Kentucky Fire AAU Boys Basketball Golf Scramble. Registration at 8:15 a.m., tee time 9:00. Cost is $35.00 per team member and includes lunch and cart, (14 teams of 4). First prize — $70 per team member; second - $35 per player.
