The Lady Colonels (13-7, 7-2 OVC) will be looking for their fourth-straight victory when they take on UT-Martin (10-13, 5-4 OVC) at 8 p.m. today in Martin Tenn.

EKU is coming off a 53-49 win over Southeast Missouri State on Saturday.
The Lady Colonels got off to a slow start in the first half, but came back from a six-point first-half deficit to pick up the win.
As has been the case in the past several games, EKU got a big lift from players coming off the bench.
Miranda Maples played a big part in the win, hitting a big three pointer late in the contest to give EKU the lead and also made several big plays on the defensive end late in the game as well.
In the win, senior Alex Jones recorded her fourth double-double in the last five games and the 32nd of her career, finishing with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
The 13 points moved her past Jaree Gooden into third place on the Lady Colonel all time scoring list with 916 points.
Today’s game features a matchup of the OVC’s best defense (EKU) and highest-scoring offense (Martin).
The Lady Colonels lead the league in defense, holding their opponents to 58.1 points per game.
The Lady Skyhawks are the league’s top offense, averaging 72 points per game.
Martin, is 7-4 at home, but is coming off back-to-back road losses at Eastern Illinois and SIU-Edwardsville last week.
Martin is lead by Heather Butler, who enters the game averaging 21.8 points per game. She is the all-time leading scorer for the Lady Skyhawks.
Junior guard Jasmine Newsome is second on the team, averaging 21 points per contest. In the two games on the road last week, she averaged 22.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, five assists and five steals.
