GLENMORE: Have more fun, tee it forward

(Continued)

RICHMOND —

A par, believe it or not

Our departed friend and long-time member of the Madison Country Club, Percy Hacker, had one of the most miraculous pars that anyone ever made at that club.

On the 145-yard par three, No. 3 at the MCC, Percy hit the ball over the creek three times and still made par on the hole. He hit the ball over the creek and green on his tee shot. The second shot he skulled it back across the creek and chipped his third shot back across the creek in the hole for an easy par.

Wow! You da man, Percy!
