OVC FOOTBALL: Colonels set to wrap up spring practice

RICHMOND — The Colonels will wrap up spring practice today at Roy Kidd Stadium with the team’s annual Maroon-White Game.

The event is set for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast free on the OVC Digital Network. The scrimmage will feature a split squad, with players evenly split between offense and defense.

Before the game, the football staff will hold a punt/pass/kick competition on the field. The competition is open to all EKU students on the football field from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The top three males and females will advance to the championship round to be held at halftime of the spring game. Two overall winners (one male and one female) will win official EKU football gear plus the opportunity to call the plays for the offense or defense on the first series of the second half.

EKU students will need to have their student ID to compete.
