H.S. TRACK: Lady Indians, Indians take team titles at All-Comers Meet

MADISON COUNTY — Madison Central swept both the boys and girls team titles in a nine-team all-comers meet Tuesday at Central.

Central’s girls team finished with 157 points, while Madison Southern finished second with 140 points. Model was fourth with 65 points and Berea Community was ninth.

On the boys side, Central was first with 219 points, followed by Madison Southern in second with 139.5 points. Model and Berea tied for eighth with 21 points each.

For Central girls, Larryn Brooks won the 100 meter dash and the 200 meter dash, Alexis Conner was first in the 300 meter hurdles and third in the 100 meter hurdles.

For the Central boys, Mason Crump won the 1600 meter run, Daniel Park won the 400 meter dash, Griffin Sexton was first in the 800 meter run, followed by Howie Chenault in second and Maxwell Snyder in third. Brandon Parks won both the shot put and discus and Daniel Guy finished first in the long jump.

Madison Southern’s Kate Freel won the 100 meter hurdles, Maria Melhuish won the 3200 meter run. Amanda Collier was second in the 200 meter dash, while Mackenzie Bicknell was third in the 100 meter dash and Karrigan Moberly was third in the 400 meter dash, while Jessica Scribano was third in the 300 meter hurdles.

Southern’s Mike Rothermel was first in the long jump and the triple jump and Casey Dionne finished first in the 300 meter hurdles

Model’s Darrian Botts won the long jump, Hannah Nnoromele was first in the 800 meter run and Chad Wagers was first in the 200 meter dash. Reagan Cole was second in the 300 meter hurdles and Hannah Durban was third in the 800 meter run.

For Berea Community, Bailey Rosenbarker was fifth n the 1600 meter run, Emma Patterson was sixth in the 200 meter run and finished eighth in the 400 meter dash, Lincoln Satterthwaite was sixth in the 800 meter run and Raymond McKinney was fifth in the 3200 meter run.
