The Colonels (18-6, 7-3 OVC) will looking for a sweep of the season series when they takeå on Morehead (11-13, 5-5 OVC) today at 7:30 p.m. in Morehead.

The Colonels are coming off a 97-31 non-conference win over Crowley’s Ridge College on Tuesday and are currently in second place in the OVC East Division.
In the win over Crowley’s Ridge, which moved coach Jeff Neubauer’s into second place on the all time wins list at EKU with 136, sophomore Robbie Stenzel led all scorers in the game with a career-high 14 points.
EKU has shot 50 percent or better from the field in five of its past six games.
Morehead State has lost two straight games, including a 70-59 loss to Jacksonville State on Saturday.
In that game, the Eagles allowed Jacksonville State to shoot 66 percent from the field and 55 percent from three-point range. Morehead also turned the ball over 25 times.
Milton Chavis continues to lead the Eagles, averaging 11 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.
Morehead enters the contest averaging 71 points per game while giving up an average of 70 points per game. The Eagles are averaging 45 percent shooting from the field and 32 percent from behind the three-point line.
The Colonels beat the Eagles 59-52 on Jan. 12 in Richmond. EKU leads the all-time series with Morehead 105-74, but the Eagles have a 44-37 advantage in games played in Morehead.
Lady Colonels also looking to sweep Morehead
The Lady Colonels will be looking to close out a three-game road swing with a season sweep of rival Morehead when the two teams match up in Morehead at 5:15 p.m. today.

The Lady Colonels are trying to bounce back from a disappointing 75-60 loss to UT-Martin on Saturday that dropped them from the top spot in the OVC East Division.
EKU is now tied for second in the East standings with Tennessee Tech.
In the Martin Loss, senior Alex Jones had her 32nd career double-double with 15 points and 16 rebounds.
Jones needs just six more to reach leader Laphelia Doss with 38 double doubles. She also is only 68 rebounds of becoming only the second Lady Colonel to ever reach 1,000 rebounds in a career.
Morehead State is coming off a 59-45 loss at Belmont on Monday and is fifth in the OVC East.
The Lady Colonels beat the Lady Eagles 62-52 on Jan. 12 in Richmond. In that game, Terrice Robinson, the OVC’s fourth leading scorer at 17.1 points per game, poured in 30 points to lead the Eagles.
EKU leads the all-time series with Morehead State 42-41.
The Lady Colonels return home for their next three contests beginning with a matchup with Jacksonville State on Feb. 16. The Lady Colonels are 10-1 on the season in the friendly confines of McBrayer Arena.
