LITTLE LEAGUE: All-Stars set for tournament play

RICHMOND — Five Richmond Little League All-Star teams will begin their quest for district titles and trips to the state tournament this weekend.

The Richmond 11-12 year-old All-Star teams are set to open play at Lake Reba, while the 9-10 All-Stars teams and the 11-year-old All-Star squad are scheduled to open play in Lawrenceburg.

Four of the five local teams will play today.



11-12 year-olds

Both Richmond All-Stars teams will be in action today at Lake Reba.

The Richmond American All-Stars are set to face Eastern American at 1 p.m. on McDonalds Field. The Richmond National All-Stars will take on Mercer County at 1 p.m. on Revel Field.

The Richmond National All-Stars include: Devin Ecklar, Matthew McQuain, Clay Combs, Cameron Craig, Brandon Adams, Dalton Gregory, Ben Snapp, Jacob Beck, Stephen Golson, Ethan Hahn and Caleb Patterson.

The Richmond American All-Stars include: Caeden Layton, Jason Deerfield, Lincoln Lunsford, Tyler Santiago, Luke Keck, Alex Lazaroff, John Bingham, Kenton Humphrey, Hayden Waterbeck, Lucas Meyers and Bennie Hurt.



9-10 year-olds

The Richmond All-Stars teams will be in action this weekend in Lawrenceburg.

The Richmond National All-Stars will take on Harrison County at 11 a.m. today, while the Richmond American All-Stars are set to open play in the tournament at 4 p.m. Sunday against Mercer County.

The Richmond National All-Stars include: Zac Cowan, Brycen Gray, Nate Moore, Selicity Broaddus, Braeden Ray, Ethan Bailey, Landen Broaddus, Aiden Carter, Jayden Adams, Bryce Snapp and Noah Eastham.

The Richmond American All-Stars include: Nate Haskins, Dawson Hall, Colton Perkins, Kaden Carr-White, Brady Vaughn, Zach Holbrook, Canon Scenters, Dylan Witt, Sean Lyle and Keaton Rice.



11-year-olds

The Richmond All-Stars will open play in the District 3 Tournament today in Lawrenceburg.

The team will take on Eastern American at 1 p.m.

The Richmond All-Stars include: Bannon Hill, Kyler Stewart, Caleb Rice, Ryan Huntzinger, Zachary Purvis, Titus Haskins, Jakob Tharp, Jacob Hurt, Jonathan Makinen, Les Shepherd and Dalton Kelley.
