WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Eastern Kentucky University men’s golf team placed 13th among a field of 32 teams at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary University.

The event was scheduled for three round over three days, however poor weather led to the suspension of play on Sunday. The teams returned to play this afternoon and finished only one round.

Tennessee (285) captured the team title by two shots over Florida State and Michigan. The Colonels were within three shots of the top-10 with an 18-hole total of 297. EKU was one shot behind two teams tied for 11th and one shot in front of two teams tied for 14th.

The event was contested on the River Course at Kingsmill, a par-70 6,765-yard course.

Next up for the Colonels is the Grub Mart Intercollegiate hosted by Jacksonville State University on April 8-9.
