Richmond’s Dylan Hensley rolled to the title in the boys 11- and 12 year-old division Friday at the Pepsi Junior Golf Tour event at Lakeside Golf Course.
Hensley shot a 31 and won by four strokes over Ryan Gillum of Grayson (35) and six shots over Riley Grant of Columbia (37).
In other action, Grant Willougby shot an 87 and finished 16th in the boys 13-14 year-old division, while Ronnie Durham of Richmond finished tied for 19th in the same division after shooting a 102.
Richmond’s Kiera McEvoy finished third in the girls 13- and 15 year-old divison.
Also on Friday, Madison County’s Adam Herald followed up his victory on Wednesday at Gibson Bay with a third-place finish at the Musselman-Dunne Tour event Friday at Shawnee Golf Course.
Herald shot a 34 on the front nine and a 38 on the back nine (72, +2) and ended up just two shots behind the winner in the boys championship division.
Bryan Ratterman finished with a 69 (-1) and took the title. In other action on the Musselman-Dunne Tour, Eastern Kentucky University freshman Brian Fister finished sixth in the college men’s division after firing a 71 (+1).
