Trunk show, visiting Japanese artists Tuesday at Galley on Main

RICHMOND — The Gallery on Main will host its 10th annual Trunk Show and Sale on Tuesday as well as the artist reception for its Women of Whimzy Gallery Show.

The Women of Whimzy show will feature the work of two visiting Japanese artists, who will be on hand for a reception beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Artists Yoko Shimura and Akoko Nakazawa will be in the United States for only a few weeks and their work will hang in the Gallery on Main for only three days.

The trunk show will start at 4:30 p.m. with the work of at least 24 local artists according to an announcement from the Gallery on Main.

The Galley on Main is inside the Community Trust Bank, 128 W. Main St., across from the Madison County Courthouse.
