Easter Bunny visiting Richmond homes March 30

RICHMOND — The Richmond Parks and Recreation Department is team up with the Police Department to help parents make this Easter “EGGstra special” for their children in the city, according to information provided by the parks department.

On Saturday, March 30. the Easter Bunny, accompanied by a police officer will visit the homes of children inside the city limits whose parents have made arrangements.

The cost is $10 per child, and a registration form and payment must be returned to the Parks and Recreation office by 4:30 p.m. Monday. Registration form can be found online at or obtained at the office, 321 N. Second St.

Gifts provided by parents or guardians may be brought to the parks office prior to the visits. Deliveries will be made between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on March 30.

The Easter Bunny will be able to visit with each child and have photographs taken.
