Two Madison County elementary schools will see a new face in the principal’s chair next school year.
Mayfield Elementary has selected Dr. Shelly Boulden as its next principal to replace Richard Lowe, who is retiring at the end of June.
Lowe has been an educator for 28 years, nine of them as principal at Mayfield.
Kirksville Elementary has selected Starla Browne as its next principal, replacing Dustin Brumbaugh, who will become named human resources director for the district.
Both principals will begin their duties on July 1.
