Visitors to Fort Boonesborough today have a chance to leave with some 18th century style merchandise. Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. is the final day of the fort’s Winter Trade Days.
Merchants and traders in period costumes have set up shops inside the fort’s cabins, selling anything a frontier family could need, from tools, weapons and survival equipment to clothing, jewelry and luxury items.
The costumed workers at the fort are available to answer questions about the times or what items were used for. Admission to the historic site is free.
