Tuesday evening’s mix of rain and snow is forecasted to switch over to snow at 1 a.m. early Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Although earlier projections predicted 3 inches of snow, by late Tuesday afternoon, those estimates had changed to 1 inch.

The snow will taper off Wednesday night, but the wind chill will be as low as 8 F.
