The trial of LeBruce Ellington, accused of complicity in the 2010 murders of a Madison County couple, has been delayed until 2014.
Rebecca Lytle, Ellington’s attorney, told Madison Circuit Judge Jean C. Logue on Thursday that she received an unsigned copy of a plea agreement from a federal court that did not match the copy Ellington has.
She is waiting to see the original copy for clarification, but has not received it yet, Lytle told the judge.
Ellington is serving time in a federal prison for a previous drug trafficking conviction.
Another pre-trial hearing has been scheduled for Feb. 12 at 9 a.m.
