• “The Little Mermaid” presented by the Spotlight Acting School at Trinity PCA Presbyterian Church, 315 Spangler Dr., Richmond. Performance 2 p.m. Sunday. Admission $5 for adults, $3 for children 10 and under.

• AARP Driver Safety course for drivers 50 and older, 12:30 to 5 p.m., Madison County Public Library, 319 Chestnut St., Berea,  Participants receive certificate that may qualify participants for insurance discounts. Cost $12 for AARP members, $14 for others. Preregister by calling 986-7112.

• Journaling to the Soul for women in transition, 6 to 9 p.m., Oct. 29, Nov. 5, 12, 29, 26 and Dec. 3 at Richmond Chamber of Commerce, 201 East Main St. $60 fee, $30 for chamber members and Opportunity School for Women graduates. • Berea City Council candidate forum, 7-8:30 p.m., Berea College Alumni Building’s Baird Lounge. Candidate meet-and-greet with refreshments 8:30-9 p.m. Hosted by KFTC and Berea College student groups.


• Medicare 2013 Part C (health) and Part D (drug) plan comparisons and enrollment at Richmond Senior Citizens Center, 1215 W. Main St., 2 to 4 p.m. Individuals should  bring a printed list of their medications including dosage.
• Community trick-or-treat, 6-8 p.m.
