‘Ghostwalk’ at White Hall next two weekends

RICHMOND — Eastern Kentucky University Theatre will conduct Ghostwalk at White Hall, co-produced with the Kentucky State Parks, Oct. 18-20 and Oct. 25-27.

In a theatrical performance, “spirit guides” will lead guests from room to room, introducing spirits of the past who tell the story of the Clay family. Tours will be from 7 to 10:30 p.m. nightly.

Tickets are available beginning Oct. 1 for $10 per person, and paid reservations are required.

To make reservations or for more information, call 623-9178.

White Hall, a restored Italianate mansion just off I-75 at Exit 95, built in 1798 and remodeled in the 1860s, was the home of Cassius Marcellus Clay – abolitionist newspaper publisher, a founder of the Republican Party, ambassador to Russia during the Civil War, state legislator and a close friend of President Abraham Lincoln.
