Madison County Relay for Life 2013

MADISON COUNTY — Hundreds turned out Friday night to support and fundraise for cancer research at the annual Madison County Relay for Life.

Cancer survivors and their caregivers started the all-night event by taking a celebratory lap around the B. Michael Caudill Middle School track. They then released purple and yellow balloons.

A variety of games and food items were for sale by several dozen teams that had booths set up around the track.

Activities such as Zumba, yoga and a Harlem Shake dance were planned to help keep event goers energized all night long.
