Register Staff Report

RICHMOND — Sinclair Johnson, 34, of Overland Drive, was charged with parole violation on Tuesday, according to a Richmond Police Department news release.

Johnson was convicted in 2011 of first-degree possession of a controlled substance and trafficking in LSD. He was sentenced to four years in prison, but was placed on probation for five years.

In June of 2012, Johnson’s probation was revoked and the four-year sentence was imposed. He was paroled in January of 2013, but a warrant was issued for his arrest in March after he allegedly violated parole terms.

According to the release, the warrant was served on Johnson at the Madison County Detention Center, where he was lodged on other charges.
