MADISON COUNTY — Two accidents on Interstate 75, both in a short time Tuesday afternoon between Exits 95 and 97, sent three people to area hospitals. One was transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington and two were taken to Baptist Health-Richmond. Traffic in both directions was snarled for hours as the accidents were investigated and vehicles were removed, including a tractor trailer that went into the wide, grassy median just south of Exit 97. No other information was available at press time.
