Burglaries, thefts reported to RPD

RICHMOND — Wednesday

• A representative of Main Street Storage, 455 E. Main St., reported that the locks had been cut from 11 storage units during the night. Entry was gained to the grounds by cutting a hold through a rear chain link fence. The only items missing were two unknown brand, nonfunctioning televisions, taken from one of the storage units. Estimated loss: $200.

Tuesday

• Two residents in the 300 block of High Street reported Tuesday that their vehicles was unlawfully entered during the night and several items were stolen. There were no signs of forced entry. The following items were reported missing: two sets of golf clubs, one of which was in a maroon and white golf bag; a charger for a cellular telephone; an Ox cord; and four written but unfilled drug prescriptions. Value of loss is undetermined.

• A resident in the 300 block of Churchill Drive reported that her unsecured apartment was unlawfully entered sometime during the previous three days and an unknown brand 32-inch television was stolen. Estimated loss: $300.        

Monday

• A resident in the 200 block of Mount Rushmore Drive reported that her apartment was broken into during the daytime hours and several items were stolen. Entry was gained by forcing open the front door. Reported stolen were: a gold and silver bracelet; a Timex wrist watch; a silver diamond necklace with matching earrings; a gold necklace with matching earrings; a gold necklace with a green stone; and a gold watch with a matching bracelet. Estimated loss: $320.
