Madison County 2nd Sunday

MADISON COUNTY — Hundreds of adults, children and teens came out on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon to celebrate the county’s sixth annual 2nd Sunday at Battlefield Memorial Park. From informational booths about fitness and wellness to a variety of games for children to play, the event focused on getting Kentuckians more active. Bike riders of all ages were out by the dozen to take advantage of the park’s paved biking and walking paths. 2nd Sunday started Saturday with a nature walk at the Blue Grass Army Depot and continued Sunday morning with the Pink Boa 5K Run/Walk.
