RICHMOND — Richmond police and firefighters will be facing off in their annual flag football game Thursday evening.

The third annual Turkey Bowl will be 5:30 p.m. at Madison Indoor Recreation Center, 1136 Richmond Green Court, Richmond.

The Richmond Police Department has claimed victory in the prior two games, according to Officer Josh Hale.

“We’re going for a three-peat,” he said.

Eastern Kentucky University intramural referees will officiate the game, and it should last about 90 minutes.

A special half-time show will feature the Madison Central High School drum line.

Admission to the game is donation of one canned food item, which will be given to God’s Outreach Food Bank.

After the game, a dinner will be served to honor the community’s first responders, Hale said.
