MADISON COUNTY —
Children of all ages attended 4-H workshops Monday night at the Madison County Extension Office. Children ages 4 to 8 were part of the 4-H Cloverbuds group called the Little Explorers. On Monday, they learned about owls and got to dissect “owl pellets” that contained the regurgitated bones and fur of the birds’ prey. In another room, older children worked on “up-cycling” shredded paper.
