Hops & Vine Festival closes down Second Street Saturday

Register Staff Report

RICHMOND — Downtown Richmond businesses banded together Saturday to entertain residents with free live music, games and tasty food and drinks.

The first Hops & Vine Festival, which was organized by Apollo Pizza’s parent company Dancing Days, closed down South Second Street as a large crowd enjoyed the tunes of Matthew Robbins and Shawn Stapp, then Corey Kenton.

Kids enjoyed playing cornhole, the beanbag tossing game, and laser tag at Richmond Underground, while adults pulled up chairs to the stage to hear listen to the local musicians and sample drinks and food.
