RICHMOND — Gibson Lane home burglarized

A resident in the 300 block of Gibson Lane reported Monday that his apartment had been burglarized. Entry was gained by forcing open the front door, according to the RPD.

Missing items included a Sanyo 50-inch LCD television in a box, a PlayStation 3 gaming system with three games, a silver Invicta diver’s watch and numerous Blu-ray movies.

The estimated loss is $894.

Other burglaries:

– A resident in the 400 block of Garden City Drive reported Saturday that his apartment had been burglarized during the day. There were no signs of forced entry, according to the RPD.

Missing items included an antique metal bed with mattress and box springs, a glass top coffee table, assorted men’s clothing and a single-serving coffee maker.

The estimated loss is $800.

Vehicle break-in reported at Day’s Inn

A guest at the Day’s Inn motel reported Sunday that his vehicle had been broken into during the night. The stolen items, worth a total of $600, were a Texas Ranger citizen’s band radio and a Cobra 5000 GPS unit. Entry was gained by breaking the driver’s side window, according to police.

Other vehicle thefts:

– A resident in the 200 block of Shamrock Lane reported Friday that a black iPod Touch, worth $330, had been stolen from her vehicle during the night. There were no signs of forced entry, according to the RPD.
