RICHMOND — The Richmond Chamber of Commerce ambassadors went “Crashing Businesses”

on Thursday with two giant “bananas.” Twenty ambassadors and two “Banana Babes” visited five businesses: Chick-fil-A, LaFontaine Preparatory School, Heirlooms Quilt Shoppe, Olive You Boutique and Kentucky Dermatology & Skin Cancer Clinic. “We will be randomly “crashing” members all year long to let them know how much we appreciate them, said Mendi Goble, chamber executive director. Goody bags full of member business gifts were handed out during each visit. “When we put our teams together – we’re bananas about you,” said the two “Banana Babes,” Laura Thomas of Richmond Car and Truck Center and Mysterie Conner of Madison Bank.
