KSP announces January checkpoints

RICHMOND — Kentucky State Police troopers from the Richmond post will be conducting traffic checkpoints at 51 areas in Madison County throughout January.



Locations in the county include points along US 25, US 421 and KY 52.

According to a KSP news release, troopers will be paying special attention to seatbelt adherence, sobriety, insurance and registration violations.



The KSP will be manning the checkpoints periodically, along with other checkpoints in their 11-county service area. For a complete listing of checkpoint locations, visit www.kentuckystatepolice.org/posts/press/post7_checkpoints.htm.
