RICHMOND — Several dozen teens lifted their voices in song Thursday evening at the Richmond Teen Center for the annual Christmas program. The youths added their own twists to holiday classics to liven the beat, and interpretive movement was used to act out the lyrics to a song about the “Lamb of God.”

Attendees enjoyed a holiday meal donated by the teen center’s community partners, and each youth received a stocking full of gifts. Several community and business supporters were recognized by Director Georgia Parks.

Among those recognized were God’s Outreach Pantry, Meijer, the Richmond Teen Center Board, the Richmond Parks & Recreation staff, Mayor Jim Barnes and the city commissioners, Phyllis Wheatley #39 Order of the Eastern Start, Ashler Lodge #49  F&AM, Richmond Teen Center volunteers, Scott Gross Company and Vic Watts.
