‛When Shakespeare’s Ladies Meet’

BEREA — The Rose Barn Theater, Berea Tourism and the Berea Arts Council will present “When Shakespeare's Ladies Meet,” a comedy focussing on the women in the Bard’s stories, Thursday through Sunday as part of Berea’s Festival of Learnshops.

Directed by Carol Siler of the Rose Barn Theater, the play is about five women from Shakespeare’s works: Portia, Katherine, Desdemona, Ophelia and Cleopatra, who convene to give the recently love-stricken Juliet relationship advice.

The free one-hour performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, 5 and 7 p.m. Friday, 7 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. All are at the Berea Arts Council on the College Square, except for the 5 p.m. Friday show at the Russel Acton Folk Center on Jefferson Street.
