Man accused of trying to induce mother to take nude photos of child

RICHMOND — A Madison grand jury has indicted a Lexington man for allegedly trying to get the mother of an 11-year-old child to take nude pictures of the girl, according to court documents.

Steven Patrick Hunter, 48, was indicted June 19 on one count of criminal attempt to promote a sexual performance of a minor (victim less than 16).

The charge is a Class C felony punishable by five to 10 years in prison.

On or about Jan. 4 and 5, Hunter is accused of trying to induce a woman to take topless and nude photos of her daughter and provide those photos to him, according to the indictment.

Hunter pleaded not guilty at his arraignment and is scheduled for a pretrial hearing at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 1 in Madison Circuit Court.

Other indictments handed down in June:

• Jason W. Story, 32, theft by unlawful taking (less than $10,000). He is accused of taking property from Jones Heating and Cooling.

• Rodney Horn, 25, convicted felon in possession of a handgun, receiving stolen property, theft by unlawful taking (less than $10,000) and second-degree persistent felony offender.

• John M. Adams, 27, two counts of receiving stolen property (firearm).

• Curtis Wayne Cheeks, 33, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (oxycodone).

• Patty A. Wagaman, 49, fraudulent use of a credit card.

• Quinton D. Warford, 30, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of drug paraphernalia (Baggies and rolling papers) and possession of marijuana.

• Hannah B. Pingleton, 40, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (heroin), second-degree possession of a controlled substance (buprenorphine) and possession of drug paraphernalia (two metal tubes).

• Barbara A. Taylor, 49, theft by unlawful taking (less than $10,000). She is accuse of taking jewelry from Fred Meyer Jewelers at the Kroger Marketplace in Richmond on March 9.

• Kenna R. Agee, 29, theft by unlawful taking (less than $10,000).

• David Lynn Satterfield, 46, and Samuel Edward Miller, 34, manufacturing methamphetamine. Satterfield also was indicted on a charge of second-degree persistent felony offender (previously convicted of manufacturing methamphetamine in Estill Circuit Court).
